Suspended Rondo Ceiling
New Rondo Suspended ceiling installed at Mangana in the Fingal Valley. The Top Cross support bars are installed at 1200 centres and the 450ml furring channels are at 450 centres. The 450 centres for the furring channels are because the plasterboard sheet that will be going on this framing is 10ml thick and in being so the maximum distance allowed by Australian Standards is 450ml. If however you were using 13ml plasterboard the furring channels(battens) can be spaced at 600ml centres and still comply with necessary safety standards. Hope this helps some of you budding DIY enthusiasts. #rondo #suspendedceilings #ceilings #eastcoasttas
